I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for showing your support by reading and a special thank you to all of you who commented here and/or on the review page at TVGC.
Of all the reviews that I write, this one always means the most to me and that's partly because of how much I love this show and partly because I love sharing it with all of you here.
Your support is always so appreciated and it means so very much to me. Honestly, when I read comments where people say that they appreciate the show even more after reading these or that it makes them want to watch the episode again or that they have an enriched experience because of the details I may help them to see more of, all of that makes me feel so proud and so much like I've done what I've always set out to do.
I am honoured to have the opportunity to promote the show and celebrate its greatness, and I'm honoured to be able to be a voice for our community here and, in some ways, the fandom as a whole. It's a wonderful experience and there is so much joy in it for me, but all of that comes directly from each of you and the support you have shown to me.
So thank you all so much! We just have one more episode to go before the long winter break, and I'm sure this will be an episode that will leave us all in great spirits as we enter the holiday season! I'm sure it will be my greatest challenge to date in terms of condensing all of that magic, brilliance, and beauty into a somewhat short review, but I promise that I will do my very best to pay tribute to this bound-to-be incredible episode and to all of you incredible fans and friends!!

Well Queen, I've seen the episode twice now, and I still got something from your review that I hadn't caught before. Thanks again! Ooooh, I always love hearing that sort of thing!! Thanks, Bren!! To be fair, though, I do get to watch the episode at least twice before I finish my rough draft and then a third time before I send my final copy in to my editor, so I think that helps me out a bit. Lol. And I've had a couple of instances of mixing something up or writing something wrong in the one that I post here and I'm lucky to have so many perceptive people who are kind enough to give me the head's up before I send it in later on. Or, sometimes, I catch my own mistakes when I watch it again on the west coast feed and think "oooh, I totally had that wrong in my review." In the end, though, the biggest compliment I can ever receive is when someone says that they got something from my reviews that they didn't see or even maybe didn't fully understand when they watched it themselves. So thank you for that, my dear!! It always makes me feel like I've done my job! |
