I wasn't happy with last night's episode I was so disappointed with little time spent on Rick & Kate they are supposed to be in love feels more like they are good friends or siblings I am not feeling the passion between these two nor are we getting enough time with them together as a couple. 30 seconds at the end of an episode isn't doing it for me as a viewer. The Christmas setting would have been fun to explore seeing them exchange gifts, sitting at the table as a family and seeing the beautiful loft a little more and having their friends over. We got zip a kiss that lasted all of 8 seconds sorry guys this one fell short for me after waiting four years for a Christmas episode I could watch over and over again for years to come. The case could have been cut down another 3 to 5 minutes to give us more time with the couple all shows have 42 minutes of story telling and I saw far better Christmas epps from other series not as good as Castle is as a series overall and they get better Christmas stories then we were given. Pam Yes the case could have been cut down but then I thought Castle was a procedural? The relationship isn't the show. They are still growing Caskett. Yes we know but not everyone knows and they can't act unprofessional during work. I know you like Bones and for me they give off the Brother/Sister vibe more than Caskett does. I am still struggling to get connected with that relationship and they live together. Just give them more time. I know you are frustrated but there is so much more to learn and they have never ever been a show to lay it all out there immediately. This is a ballet not a rumba. Let the story expand and gracefully grow. The romance is there, just keep looking. hang in there.

And to all a good night Glogg ? Castle called it, glug, but the correct pronunciation is Glurg. Swedishly speaking of course. There are two little dots over the o. OMG, do I sound pretentious or what?

Let the story expand and gracefully grow. The romance is there, just keep looking. hang in there. To be honest I really didn't find the case all that compelling either. I could have let the way the relationship vibe kinda faltered for a bit between them go if it had been. Bones kinda did the murdered Santa thing already (and did such a wonderful job with it at the time) so I freely admit that might be what turned me off a little. It was like the chemistry that Rick and Kate had been developing the first half of the season just kinda fizzled, or at least it seemed that way to me. Like they had briefly gone back to square one again. I found the Esposito/Gates storylines more interesting than the Caskett one. (sacriledge, I know) Those were the true gems of this episode to me. Getting that window into the personal lives of Victoria Gates and Javier Esposito really drew me in. The episode as a whole, however, felt to me like Marlowe, in his zeal to make all of us fans happy, was trying a little too hard to tell too many stories all at once. Like he was trying to jam a two parter into one episode. But that's just my opinion.
