Is it just me or were there a few changes noticable in this weeks eppy? I thought the interrogation room looked different, and I swear, I don't remember ever seeing that polar bear art at the loft. Speaking of, where exactly were Martha and Castle while he paced waiting for Meredith and Beckett to return from dinner? Was that his office? Martha wasn't on the couch he's had in the past, but I think I the piano in the background indicating it was the great room/living room.
Anyone else catch these changes or have inside info?

Polar Bear is not new. Sorry.
I didn't think chair Martha was sitting in was new either.

You're right. I was thinking she was in a sofa. The angles and lighting they used for those scenes were very different. I especially loved how the interrogation room came off, all dark and creepified.

I did notice that the interrogation scenes were different. I do not think that anything is re-done per se, but what went through my mind while watching last night is that they are using what they have from a different perspective. They may be utilizing more of the spaces/sets as a whole for variety, to give us a different feel; stimulate our senses a little more. I also like that they seem to be doing a lot of shooting in two different ways, in particular. They are very "in your face" a lot more. Shooting Rick & Kate very closely. So much so that you can see the pores in their skin even. Except when they kiss. Darn. If they zoomed in to their lips, I could handle that. lol... And, secondly, I like the low angles. As if they are shooting from the knees, looking up. Super cool. I find it fun to see different things on set, and it's just a matter of changing the actor's or the camera positioning. Very fun. It's the same places, just different. I love this show.

It was definitely a good move. We're on season 5 for pete's sake! They gotta keep things new and fresh for us long-timers.
