I'm not sure if anyone else has tracked down this song yet, but I did some work with the CC on my DVR to get the lyrics and then did a lyrics search and the song used in that opening scene is:
"Secret" by Missy Higgins
Hopefully that helps anyone who's been trying to find this song, which was a great choice for the opening of this episode.

Yes, its a great song and Missy Higgins is a very talented Australian artist. One of my favourite songs is 'The Special Two' off 'The Sound of White' album'. Makes me think of Beckett.

Totally agree Castleofoz! After watching the vid I had to listen to the album (got it for Christmas) and thought exactly the same. Soooooooooo appropriate!
