WELCOME BACK!!
Well, folks, it's the wee hours of the morning on the east coast and our site didn't take long to have upgraded as we hit the magic button first thing at 3am ET and got to be the first forum in line for the upgrade process. The process itself took less than an hour and there was a bit of fixing up to do from our end to make sure everything was in place. Teel and I will work together a bit tomorrow at a reasonable hour (lol) on any graphics / layout issues that may still exist (like our actual forum name doesn't show up on the main header anymore... sorry, Teel, I got most of the other stuff figured out except for that!! I did manage to add back all of our links and graphics on the main page and the header, so I'm not totally useless! By now, you may have also noticed that you've received a PM from us to welcome you to our new home here. This PM includes some basic information that we will be sending to all new members from here on out, though the PM you've received as returning members is a little different. We just want to make sure that everyone is on the same page as we start here at the new site and that you all know who to contact if you have any issues along the way. If you did not receive this PM, which should be called "Welcome To Our New Home" (same as this thread), please let me know. Also, please go into your profile editing page (see the section in the guide area for a tutorial / step-by-step instructions on this or let me know if you need help) and make sure that your settings are all as you want them to be. Settings were pulled over from the old site but there are new options and some settings that may go back to the default settings. I checked mine out and there were a few small changes to be made, so please make sure you go and do that before you start exploring. The guides are there in the "Your Guide To The New Boards" area to give you all of the tutorials and step-by-step instructions that you may need as you navigate the new site and get used to the new features. If you need any assistance or any technical help, please do not hesitate to PM or email either myself or Teel (thank you!) and we will jump in to help you out! Also, if you have questions, feel free to post them here or in the guide threads as I will be checking in quite regularly over the next few days to make sure everyone is settled in here and that you have everything you need to get started back into posting here. Thank you all for your patience and support throughout this process and I'm sure we are going to have a great time here in our new home!! |

YEAH! This place looks GREAT! I'm just missing where the smiley emoticons are... Are they so obvious they'd bite me in the nose? I don't see them, and those are MUST for me! hee hee hee... Or do I just type it! Let me try...  Ok... I LIKE IT!  |

Quick question. Did we lose the "Newest Threads" option or am I missing it somewhere? I'm doing this from my iPhone so it may look different from a computer. On the Home page, near the bottom, under "Statistics", you'll find, "View Recent Threads", and, "View Recent Posts". Hope I got that right! |
