Just an FYI. I don't see anything on the calendar and I don't know how to go about checking for birthdays today. I am on the mobile site so maybe I'm just not seeing it on my iPhone.
Have you noticed that iPhone owners always say "iPhone" instead of just "phone"?

Lol, yes, yes you folks do... and I'm sure Apple loves the free advertising You can find the birthdays down on the bottom of the main page. There is a link that should say something like "show today's birthdays" or whatnot. Click on that and you'll get your list of birthdays for the day.

Now, either we really don't have any birthdays today or those who do have birthdays today haven't been in to check their profile settings yet.
By default, the "show birthday" option was likely reverted back to "hide birthday"... I know mine was...
So if you want your birthday to show up on our daily list, you'll have to select either to show the month and day or the full date with the month, day, and year. It's up to you if you want to display it or not and which way you want it displayed (I'm sure most will choose the month and day format as on the old site).
Once everyone has been able to log in and check their profile settings, the birthday list will start displaying properly.

Gender - No Invisibility - No Birthday visibility - Show month, date, year Who can view my profile - Everyone Activity - Share with everyone I looked and did a screencap of my IPhone but I didn't see any birthdays so maybe you're right and there aren't any today? Oh, BTW, I can't do a Preview of my reply before posting but at least I can still edit it. At least not via the mobile site/iPhone.

On the regular internet browsers, you'll find the birthdays to the right of the box it shows in your screenshot, but you're also missing some of the other portions of that main footer on that page, so I'm assuming it's a formatting thing with the mobile browsers.
It's typical for mobile browsers / mobile versions of websites to have different layouts and not have the full set of options. I'm not sure if this is something they're going to fix once along the way, but for now all I can say is that there's obviously quite a difference between what the boards look like and what options you have from a mobile browser to a standard internet browser.
As for the previewing of posts, that is no more. There's now real-time previewing when you use the formatting options above where you compose your posts. If you use HTML code, you can click on the BB Code tab at the bottom of the screen, use that option to actually type out your posts, and then toggle back to the Visual tab to see what it will look like before you post it. You can use HTML coding in either one, but visual won't show you the formatting unless you use the formatting options at the top or you compose your message with HTML in the BB Code tab and then flip back to the Visual tab to see the conversion.
Again, I'm not sure if you can do this on mobile browsers or not but you can check it out. The tabs should be on the bottom left of the reply box, with the "Create Post" button directly across from it on the far right.

I expect limitations with mobile sites but it's easier to navigate via phone than before. Just kicking the tires and reporting back. Thx!
